Annie is the co-founder of Olea and Fig, a brand strategy and marketing firm for women entrepreneurs. Armed with an Engineering and Business degree, along with side hustle experience in the fashion industry, Annie now works side-by-side with her sister Terrie to help brands become the go-to in their market.

I loved my conversation with Annie and I know you’re going to as well! In this episode we talk about how many of her decisions in the beginning of her business were driven by what society defined as success, how a European vacation was a wake up call, creating a business that combined her passions – strategy and visual, how Annie built a system to work more effectively, navigating working with her sister who is her complete opposite and time zones away, the tools she loves to use in her business, why she sees being a small business owner as a huge advantage over corporations, and so much more!

IN THIS EPISODE WE COVER:

  • Trying it all to find your niche

  • Self awareness to find the joy

  • Carving out space for yourself to avoid burnout

  • Creating systems with your business partner

  • How to stand out as a brand in the online space

  • Pivoting services
